MamadouFor this Tuesday, December 5, some fans went to share each promotional element around Grand Theft Auto Online. Some of them made a disconcerting discovery: the broadcast date of this first trailer was discreetly revealed last June. A clue that would also hide the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 and it would not be a joke.

In June, the Grand Theft Auto Online condottiere update added a new unlockable t-shirt. It contained a series of numbers which, when converted into letters, led to a message: "One day we will reveal everything." However, looking closer, we found a sequence that makes sense today: 1252309.
By dissecting it, it corresponds to the numbers 12, 5, 23, 9, in other words December 5, 2023, 9 a.m., i.e. the American broadcast date of the first trailer for the game.
The trailer confirms many little details that have slowly come out about GTA VI over the last two years, including the Vice City setting and that the game would star the series’ first female protagonist with Bonnie and Clyde-inspired story elements. The trailer says GTA VI is set for release in 2025, and in a press release published later on Monday, Rockstar specified that the game is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S that year.
